Gift Certificate Program

This program generates sales for local participating Chamber Members. Approximately $28,000 of gift certificates were sold in 2019.

Chamber Link

Chamber members can submit information to be included in the weekly Chamber link email. Our Chamber Link is sent to more than 1,300 people each week.

Website Listing

All Chamber members are included in the Chamber's Member Directory on our website. Your business name, website, and logo will be easily available to potential clients.

Put Your Business on Display/Referrals

Display your business cards and brochures inside the Alleghany County Visitors Center. When visitors and local request business, service or product referrals, we will always refer our members!

Alleghany County Magazine

Chamber members receive a free listing in the Alleghany County Magazine and an opportunity to purchase a display ad at a very reasonable price. This publication is a valuable marketing tool for our members and is distributed to all North Carolina Welcome Centers.

New Member Recognition

We introduce you and your business through social media and our weekly email briefing. We also provide a Chamber Member plaque to display in your business.

Spotlight Business

Members have an opportunity to be a "Spotlight Business" and present their business/work to the County Commissioners as well as being highlighted in the weekly Chamber Link emailing.

Ribbon Cutting

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for new businesses are featured in our social media pages, included in the Chamber Link and are given an advertisement in the newspaper. Businesses may also request a ribbon cutting celebrating 5, 10, and 20 year anniversaries.

Business After/Before Hours

Members have the opportunity to host Business After/Before Hours at your location to introduce your business and network with other Chamber Members and people in the community. We help you promote this event!

Chamber Member Celebration

We host an annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet. This gives our members the opportunity to network and recognizes members who have gone above and beyond in helping both the Chamber and Alleghany County.

Social Media Sharing

Members may request the Chamber to share a special event, deal or public notice through the Chamber's social media accounts. This includes Facebook and Instagram.

Mountain Heritage Festival

This annual festival is hosted by the Alleghany Chamber of Commerce. It is a wonderful street festival that generates revenue for the Chamber and many local artists, musicians, and businesses. Sponsorship opportunities are available and help promote your business to a wider audience.

New Job Postings

Members can send their employment opportunities to the Chamber and we will post on our Facebook page(s) and in our weekly Chamber email briefing.

New Public Notary Services

We now have a Public Notary on staff! Members can utilize this service free of charge up to 3 documents. $5 for each additional.
